The Learning Cabinet, led by UNICEF in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, and ARM, is opening a new application call for EdTech solutions that have the potential to make a meaningful contribution to addressing the global learning crisis.

This call is an opportunity for education technology providers to have their solutions independently assessed and actively matched with country-level education initiatives, particularly in contexts where the learning gap is greatest.

EdTech providers can apply by submitting the Quick Assessment form. It takes only 10–20 minutes to complete and helps us understand your solution’s readiness for evaluation and potential system-level deployment.

Submit Quick Assessment by 13 March 2026 ((login or sign up required))

What is the Learning Cabinet?

The Learning Cabinet is a curated global repository of quality-assessed EdTech solutions. It is designed to support governments and partners in identifying tools that are:

  • Safe and responsible
  • Evidence-informed
  • Designed with learners and teachers in mind
  • Ready to scale across diverse and low-resource contexts
  • Accessible for all

All EdTech solutions that apply to be listed in the Learning Cabinet, assessments are assessed through EdTech for Good Framework.

Why Apply?

1. Independent quality assessment

Applicants receive a structured, transparent review aligned with internationally recognized principles for safe and effective EdTech. This helps move beyond marketing claims toward trusted evidence and clarity

2. Increased global visibility

Solutions listed in the Learning Cabinet are visible to UNICEF teams, governments, donors, and implementing partners working across multiple regions.

3. Opportunities for country matching

Being listed enables your solution to be considered for national pilots, deployments, and large-scale programmes, especially in low- and middle-income countries.

4. Clear signalling of credibility

A Learning Cabinet listing signals that your solution meets a baseline standard for responsible EdTech, which can support partnerships, funding discussions, and policy engagement.

EdTech providers can apply by submitting the Quick Assessment form (login or sign up required).
