The Learning Cabinet has extended the application deadline for its current open call by seven days in response to strong global interest and multiple requests from learning solution providers. The new deadline for submissions is 20 March 2026 at 5:00 PM PT (Pacific Time).

Since the call opened, the Learning Cabinet has already received hundreds of applications from organizations developing digital learning solutions across different regions and education contexts. At the same time, many providers shared that they had only recently learned about the opportunity and requested a short extension to finalize their submissions.

To ensure that interested applicants have a fair chance to participate, the Learning Cabinet team has decided to extend the application window by one additional week.

Supporting applicants with clearer guidance

Alongside the deadline extension, the Learning Cabinet has also published a new FAQ section to support prospective applicants.

The FAQ provides additional guidance on:

  • The scope and purpose of the Learning Cabinet
  • What types of learning solutions can be assessed and listed
  • The expected maturity stage of providers and solutions
  • The level and types of evidence typically required for evaluation

These resources aim to help applicants better understand the evaluation process under the EdTech for Good Framework, which is used to assess solutions before they can be listed in the Learning Cabinet.

Opportunity to submit applications

Organizations developing learning solutions that demonstrate strong product maturity, readiness for system-level implementation, and credible evidence of impact on learning outcomes are encouraged to apply.

The additional time is intended to ensure that organizations that recently discovered the call have the opportunity to complete their submissions.

Applicants are encouraged to review the FAQ and application guidance before submitting their Quick Assessment, which serves as the first step in the Learning Cabinet evaluation process.
